Editor, DOONITED OVERSEAS
Pradeep Banerjee is the Editor of DOONITED OVERSEAS, a digital publication built on a simple belief: news should not merely tell people what happened—it should help them understand why it matters.
With a professional journey spanning more than three decades, Pradeep brings together experience in journalism, digital media, social media, marketing, branding, sales, business development and corporate management. This unusual combination gives him a practical understanding of both the business behind communication and the responsibility that comes with communicating information to the public.
His professional career began in institutional and corporate sales with JK Tyre & Industries, followed by a seven-year association with Lokmat Media, where he worked as Marketing Manager and was involved in revenue growth and coordination across advertising, circulation and editorial functions.
He subsequently worked with PepsiCo as Market Development Manager – Branding, Central India, followed by a leadership role at HR Data Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where his responsibilities included corporate branding, business development and HR-related business initiatives.
In 2015, he moved into news and digital media with Doonited News and Media Service, taking on responsibilities across news, social media, online marketing and business development.
Today, this experience comes together in his role as Editor of DOONITED OVERSEAS.
The Editor Behind the Publication
At DOONITED OVERSEAS, Pradeep oversees the publication’s editorial direction, with a particular interest in stories that connect India with the wider world.
The publication explores international developments, global affairs, Indian communities overseas, culture, heritage, achievements, people and the changing relationship between India and the world.
His approach to editorial work is rooted in curiosity, research, context and the belief that every story has a human dimension.
He believes journalism should not become a race to publish the loudest headline.
Speed matters. But context matters more.
A good story should be factual, relevant and engaging—and, wherever possible, leave the reader with something worth thinking about.
An Editorial Philosophy Built on Balance
Pradeep believes journalism should be capable of criticism without becoming cynical, and capable of highlighting positive developments without hiding uncomfortable facts.
For him, credibility comes from presenting information honestly, distinguishing fact from opinion, and allowing readers to form their own informed conclusions.
That philosophy is particularly important in an age when information travels faster than ever.
The responsibility of a publication is therefore not simply to publish more.
It is to understand, verify, explain and connect.

DOONITED OVERSEAS
Editor
This journey has shaped an editorial perspective that combines commercial experience, communication expertise and media understanding.
Connecting India With the World
DOONITED OVERSEAS is built around a simple idea:
India. The World. Connected.
India’s relationship with the world is no longer limited to diplomacy and international affairs.
Millions of Indians live, work, study and build businesses overseas. Global events increasingly influence Indian families and businesses, while India’s culture, people, ideas and achievements are becoming an important part of the global conversation.
DOONITED OVERSEAS seeks to tell these stories with an Indian perspective and an international outlook.
A Personal Editorial Note
I believe journalism begins with a question.
What really happened?
Why does it matter?
And what should the reader understand after reading the story?
Those three questions guide my editorial approach at DOONITED OVERSEAS.
In a world where information travels instantly, our responsibility is not simply to publish faster.
It is to publish with context, honesty and purpose.
A headline may attract a reader.
But a meaningful story earns a reader’s trust.
