Celosphere 2025 was the 2025 flagship conference organised by Celonis a few days back. For the unversed, Celonis is regarded as the world’s premier event on process intelligence and enterprise AI. Zee Business caught up with Amit Rathi, Vice President and Head of Wipro Consulting (UK and Ireland), to chat about Celosphere 2025, its association with Celonis and more. Here are edited excerpts from the exclusive interaction.
Celosphere 2025 saw the presence of several business and technology leaders to explore how process-intelligence can serve as the critical bridge that makes AI meaningful for real enterprises. How was your experience?
Celosphere 2025 has been amazing. Every year, it gets bigger and better. So we’ve been with Celonis for the last 6 years. This year has been – I should say – a milestone year for us because we also won Ecosystem Gamechanger award, which shows the kind of impact which we have made, not just for Celonis, but also for our clients. Both Wipro Consulting and Celonis strive to achieve better outcomes for our clients.
How did Wipro Consulting first establish its partnership with Celonis?
It all began with our strategy that we wanted to be the consulting leader and make a difference to the CXOs on the business side. We were looking for partners who can actually help in achieving this. It all started with a one engagement and one small team. But now, we are globally spread across US to UK to Europe and more. We have created a huge center of excellence in India which aligns with Wipro’s global delivery.
Why is India considered a crucial market?
We are headquartered in Bangalore. For us, India is the biggest talent hub. More than 70 per cent of our talent is actually based out of India. In the last five years, with the advent of AI and digital technologies, it has been hard to get the right talent. But we’ve been fortunate enough to have a great and impactful team which can deliver benefits for our client on a continuous basis.
How would you describe Wipro Consulting’s business model?
Our business model is straightforward. We operate through four business lines and four key markets. Our profit and loss structure is organized around these markets: two in the Americas, one in Europe, and one in APAC. The four business lines that drive our operations are Consulting, Technology Services, Business Process Services, and Engineering Services. Our strategy is to be consulting led and AI powered. This means that everything and anything we do for a client, needs to be led through consent and powered through AI first mindset. That’s where the investments for Wipro is going right.
What distinguishes Wipro Consulting and what gives an edge over its competitors?
We believe in keeping our client first. If we truly put the client first and take the time to understand their business problems, we can design the right solutions and become a real partner to them. By combining our technology backbone, our innovation mindset, and our consulting approach, we are confident that we can consistently achieve quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year growth. That is the path we are already on.
