
Bharti Airtel Q2 FY26 Results: Bharti Airtel reported a set of numbers for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26). The telco posted a net profit of Rs 6,792 crore for Q2 FY26, marking an 89 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rs 3,593 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s revenue from operations rose nearly 26 per cent YoY to Rs 52,145 crore during the quarter under review, compared with Rs 41,473 crore in Q2 FY25.
The telecom major’s EBITDA grew 35.9 per cent YoY to Rs 29,919 crore, while EBIT rose 51.6 per cent YoY to Rs 16,669 crore. The EBITDA margin expanded to 57.4 per cent, up from 53.1 per cent a year ago.
Profit before tax increased 82.5 per cent YoY to Rs 12,322 crore, while net income before exceptional items climbed 73.6 per cent YoY to Rs 6,792 crore.
Additionally, the company’s consolidated net profit more than doubled, rising 108.3 per cent YoY to Rs 8,650.8 crore in September 2025, compared to Rs 4,153.4 crore in September 2024.

Commenting on the performance, Gopal Vittal, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel, said the company delivered another quarter of solid results backed by broad-based growth.
“We achieved consolidated revenue of Rs 52,145 crore, growing 5.4 per cent sequentially and underscoring the strength of our portfolio. Our India revenue, including Passive Infrastructure Services, increased by 2.9 per cent, while Africa delivered another standout quarter with constant currency revenue growth of 7.1 per cent,” he said.
He added that the India Mobile business saw 2.6 per cent revenue growth, adding 5.1 million smartphone customers and maintaining an industry-leading ARPU of Rs 256. The postpaid segment recorded around 1 million net additions, while the Homes business added 9.51 lakh customers with 8.5 per cent sequential revenue growth.
Vittal also noted that Airtel Business delivered 4.3 per cent sequential revenue growth, driven by deal wins across connectivity, IoT, and security segments.
He highlighted that the company’s strong balance sheet reflects disciplined capital allocation, continued deleveraging, and sustained operational excellence.
Strong Operational Metrics
Bharti Airtel’s average revenue per user (ARPU), a key metric for telecom operators, improved to Rs 256 in Q2 FY26 from Rs 233 in Q2 FY25. The increase was driven by higher 4G and postpaid customer additions and continued premiumization of its user base.
On the subscriber front, the company’s total customer base rose 10.7 per cent YoY to 62.35 crore. The India subscriber base stood at 44.97 crore, up 10.6 per cent YoY, while the Africa base expanded 11 per cent to 17.38 crore.
