30 Nations, 7 Teams: India’s All-Party MP Delegations For Global Anti-Terror Outreach Revealed

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Sunday that all the seven-party delegations will soon engage key nations under Operation Sindoor. In a post on X, Rijiju said that the delegation reflects collective resolve against terrorism.

Rijiju, in the post on X, released a list of MPs and delegations representing the united front.

The list includes the names of 59 political leaders from different parties. They have been divided into seven groups.

Seven Delegation To Visit Key Countries

The delegation led by BJP’s Baijayant Panda will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria.

Another delegation led by BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad will visit the UK, France, Germany, the European Union, Italy, and Denmark.

The delegation led by JDU’s Sanjay Kumar Jha will visit Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Singapore.

The delegation led by Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde will visit the UAE, Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sierra Leone. This delegation included AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.

The delegation under Congress leader Shashi Tharoor will visit the USA, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, and Colombia. The delegation led by Kanimozhi of the DMK will visit Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia.

The delegation led by NCP-SP’s Supriya Sule will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa.

Earlier, a statement issued by the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry on Saturday said, “The all-party delegations will project India’s national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations. They would carry forth to the world the country’s strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism.”

The government has made a careful selection of leaders who will head the delegations, as they come from parties across the political divide and are considered articulate voices.
