The plane carrying Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday returned back to the Agra airport shortly after take-off after the plane suffered technical issue.
The aircraft had taken off from Agra but returned shortly after due to the issue. The development led to a stir among UP officials, who rushed back to the airport.
CM Yogi is currently at Kheria Airport while engineers are inspecting the aircraft. Senior officials, including the Commissioner of Police (CP) and District Magistrate (DM), are also present at the site.
Meanwhile, a scheduled event at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, marking eight years of governance, has been cancelled. CM Yogi was supposed to travel from Agra to Lucknow to attend the programme.
