India on Wednesday warned Pakistan against the unprovoked violations by the Pakistan Army along the Line of Control.
The warning comes as the Director Generals of Military Operations of India and Pakistan talked over hotline on Tuesday to discuss the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Islamabad, sources told news agency ANI.
Pakistan on Wednesday continued with its ceasefire violations for the sixth consecutive night as it initiated unprovoked firing across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army said.
The Pakistani troops engaged in small-arms fire along the LoC on the intervening night of April 29-30, while the Indian Army responded swiftly and proportionately to the ceasefire violation.
The development comes amid hieghtened tensions between the two countries in the wake of Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 people were killed.
