A lower court in Rajasthan’s Jaipur has ordered a file against a woman Air Force officer and her parents for allegedly demanding Rs 5 crore and a luxury car as dowry from her husband.
The order by the court came after the husband of the Air Force officer, a Merchant Navy professional lodged a complaint.
The couple got married on February 10, 2022, according to the husband’s lawyer. The woman was earlier married to an Air Force officer who died in a plane accident in 2014.

Though she was posted in Chennai, her hostilities allegedly grew and the situation worsened when she was transferred to Jaipur, where her family allegedly pressured the husband to purchase a luxury car, citing the woman’s senior position in the Air Force.
