TVS Motor Company Ltd on Wednesday reported a rise in net profit and revenue for the quarter ended December 2025, driving its share price up 2.2 per cent to Rs 3,643.65.

For the third quarter of 2025-26, the company posted a net profit of Rs 841.29 crore, up 49 per cent from Rs 566.03 crore in the previous quarter. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 14,755.52 crore from Rs 11,034.88 crore in the previous quarter, up 34 per cent.

Total expenses increased to Rs 13,369.20 crore from Rs 10,175.23 crore in the previous quarter. Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 11,099.99 crore, down from Rs 14,745.22 crore in the previous quarter.

TVS Motor’s operating revenue for the quarter grew 37 per cent year-on-year to Rs 12,476 crore compared with Rs 9,097 crore in the third quarter of 2024-25. Operating EBITDA rose 51 per cent to Rs 1,634 crore from Rs 1,081 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s operating EBITDA margin increased to 13.1 per cent from 12.4 per cent year-on-year. Profit before tax (PBT) before exceptional items rose 57 per cent to Rs 1,315 crore from Rs 837 crore in the third quarter of 2024-25.

TVS Motor Company Q3: Sales Performance

TVS Motor reported its highest-ever quarterly sales during the period. Total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including international business, rose 27 per cent to 15.44 lakh units compared with 12.12 lakh units in the same period last year.

Motorcycle sales increased 31 per cent to 7.26 lakh units from 5.56 lakh units. Scooter sales grew 25 per cent to 6.14 lakh units from 4.93 lakh units.

In the international market, two-wheeler sales grew 35 per cent to 3.66 lakh units from 2.72 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales more than doubled, rising 106 per cent to 0.60 lakh units from 0.29 lakh units.

Electric vehicle (EV) sales increased 40 per cent to 1.06 lakh units from 0.76 lakh units during the quarter.

TVS Motor Company Q3: Nine-Month Performance

For the nine months ended December 2025, TVS Motor’s operating revenue rose 29 per cent to Rs 34,463 crore from Rs 26,701 crore in the same period last year.

Operating EBITDA grew 41 per cent to Rs 4,406 crore from Rs 3,121 crore. PBT before exceptional items increased 43 per cent to Rs 3,594 crore from Rs 2,517 crore. Net profit for the nine-month period rose 41 per cent to Rs 2,625 crore from Rs 1,858 crore.

Total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales during the nine months grew 23 per cent to 43.28 lakh units from 35.27 lakh units. Motorcycle sales rose 24 per cent to 20.19 lakh units, while scooter sales increased 25 per cent to 17.52 lakh units.

International two-wheeler sales grew 35 per cent to 10.47 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales for the nine months stood at 1.59 lakh units, up from 0.98 lakh units last year. EV sales increased 26 per cent to 2.56 lakh units from 2.03 lakh units.
