L&T Q3FY26 Results: Net profit falls 4% to Rs 3,215 crore; revenue rises 10%

L&T Q3 Results: Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced its December quarter results for FY26 on Wednesday. The company posted a net profit of Rs 3,215.11 crore in Q3FY26, down 4.29 per cent year-on-year and below the Zee Business Research estimate of Rs 4,151 crore. The decline was primarily due to a one-time exceptional charge related to the new Labour Codes, which increased provisions for employee benefits, including recognition of past service costs.

Revenue rises YoY

Revenue for the quarter rose 10.49 per cent to Rs 71,449.70 crore, slightly below the research team’s forecast of Rs 72,358 crore, driven by strong execution across the company’s businesses. EBITDA came in at Rs 7,417 crore, up 18.58 per cent YoY, while the EBITDA margin improved to 10.38 per cent, though below the projected 12 per cent.
