Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G set to launch in India next week: Here’s what to expect

Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G Launch Date Announced: Consumer electronics brand Samsung, on February 2, announced the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy F70e 5G. The phone is set to launch in India next week on February 9. This marks the first smartphone of the all-new Galaxy F70 Series. According to the company, the phone is designed for young Gen Z users who create, share, and express themselves daily. Here’s what we know so far about the Galaxy F70e 5:

• The Galaxy F70e 5G features a dual rear camera system – a 50MP main camera, and a secondary depth camera.
• The main camera has an aperture of f/1.8, which, according to the company, helps create a natural bokeh effect by slightly blurring the background while keeping subjects in focus.
• For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera. “For social media users and content creators, this camera system supports high-quality content creation on the go,” said the company.
• The upcoming smartphone will have a display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
• The smartphone features an ultra-slim 8.2mm design and has a premium leather pattern finish on the back.
• Powering the Galaxy F70e 5G is a massive 6000mAh battery that is 20 per cent larger than its predecessors and lasts up to two days on a single charge, the company claims.
• The battery is complemented by 25W fast-charging support.
• The smartphone will be available in two colours: Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.

On a separate note, the South Korean tech giant will also introduce a new layer of privacy for its Galaxy smartphones soon. This allows users to protect the information displayed on their screens from “shoulder surfing” in public places. With this new feature, users will not need to apply any external privacy film to the phone.

The feature offers multiple levels of customisation, according to Samsung, allows users to control visibility for specific apps or activities, such as viewing notifications or entering passwords. And instead of applying a blanket privacy filter across the entire device, users can fine-tune the settings according to their needs or disable the feature altogether.

The company said the technology is the result of more than five years of development, testing and refinement. The company’s engineers studied how users interact with their phones, what types of information they consider private and how privacy measures can be integrated into everyday use without disrupting the user experience.

The result, Samsung said, is a combination of hardware and software that provides security while remaining uninterrupted.

Samsung said in the release that the feature will be available in upcoming Galaxy devices and is expected to be introduced with the company’s next flagship smartphone, which is widely expected to be launched early next year.
