
Hero MotoCorp on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 1,349 crore for the quarter ended December 31, marking a more than 12.1 per cent increase over the corresponding period a year ago. Its third-quarter revenue stood at Rs 12,328 crore, rising from Rs 10,211 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing.
The auto major’s results were largely in line with analysts’ expectations.
According to Zee Business research, Hero MotoCorp’s net profit and revenue were estimated at Rs 1,404 crore and Rs 12,122 crore, respectively.
The motorcycle maker announced an interim dividend of Rs 110 per equity share — a 5,500 per cent dividend given the face value of Rs 2 per share.
