This would mean India and New Zealand sharing the trophy. However, with the current forecast predicting clear skies, such an outcome appears highly improbable.

However, they registered key victories over Afghanistan, Canada, and the UAE in the group stage. Their Super Eight clash against Pakistan was washed out before they defeated Sri Lanka to stay in contention. In the semi-final, New Zealand faced South Africa once again and this time emerged victorious, booking their place in the final.
