The right-arm pacer, originally named in the 15-member squad, has been replaced by Assam’s medium pacer Mukhtar Hussain.

Akash was expected to lead the East Zone pace attack alongside seasoned campaigners Mohammed Shami, Mukesh Kumar, and Suraj Jaiswal.
