Veteran film producer Surinder Kapoor’s wife and matriarch of the Kapoor family, Nirmal Kapoor, passed away in Mumbai on Friday evening. She was 90.
Nirmal Kapoor, mother to Bollywood personalities Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor, breathed her last at 5:45 PM at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, where she had been frequently admitted in recent times due to age-related health complications.
A video circulating online shows family members arriving at the Kapoor residence to pay their respects. Among those seen were Boney Kapoor and his daughter Anshula Kapoor. Janhvi Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya was also spotted in the footage.
