Another Rajasthan ‘Spy’ Interrogated, ‘Confesses’ To Having Sold Info For PKR 2 Lakh

Delhi Police’s Special Cell is currently interrogating Qasim, a suspected Pakistani spy arrested from Deeg in Rajasthan. According to sources, Qasim received approximately PKR 2 lakh in multiple instalments from Pakistan in exchange for his alleged spying activities.

During interrogation, police sources said, Qasim admitted to deleting all data from his phone. He reportedly wiped the device after the Pahalgam terror attack, fearing exposure as Indian agencies began cracking down on espionage networks. However, the police have sent his phone for forensic examination to verify his claims and uncover any deleted or hidden data.

Suspected Spy Re-Entered India 2 Weeks Before Pahalgam Attack

Preliminary document checks reveal that Qasim re-entered India from Pakistan just about a week before the Pahalgam incident. Sources suggest that Qasim has relatives in Pakistan, which facilitated his travel and eventual recruitment by Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI.

According to police sources, the ISI approached Qasim by leveraging his brother Anees, who is reportedly already working for them. Qasim, a cleric by profession, was told that his position would help in gaining trust and gathering information without suspicion. The police sources further claimed that Qasim received formal training in espionage, including how to approach army personnel and how to avoid detection.
