Caught On Cam: Gunmen Storm Patna Hospital, Kill Patient Amid Spate Of Killings Across Bihar

In a shocking incident in Patna, Bihar, five armed men entered a Bihar hospital and casually walked into a patient’s room, pumped pellets into him, and escaped. According to CCTV footage, five shooters could be seen pulling out their guns, opening the cabin’s door, and then escaping. Chandan Mishra, the target, died during the treatment.

The audacity of the shooting—carried out within the premises of a medical facility in the heart of the state capital—has raised serious questions about security and policing in Bihar. The incident is the latest in a troubling series of violent crimes that have rocked the state in recent weeks.

According to NDTV, Mishra, a known criminal with several murder cases against him, was out on parole on medical grounds. He was admitted to the Paras Hospital in Patna, where the shooting took place this morning.

In a video posted by news agency ANI, the relatives of the victim, Chandan Mishra, could be seen creating a ruckus at the hospital in Patna where he was shot by members of a rival gang.

On Sunday, two more individuals—a lawyer and a teacher—were gunned down in separate incidents in Patna and Saran districts, respectively.
