The Mumbai Fire Brigade has declared it a Level-II fire and started operations to douse the blaze. There have been no causalities as per initial reports. The incident caused panic in the area and a major traffic jam on the arterial Sion- Dharavi link road.
The official said that eight fire engines, eight jumbo tankers and other equipment has been deployed.
