“There were 3 people already sitting in the RTV. After a while, food fell on the seat of the RTV, and there was some quarrel over it… Manoj Babu was asked to take out his clothes and clean the food. There was a big fight when Manoj refused to do so,” the official further said.
During the investigation, the cops examined the CCTV footage from the area where the body was found. A suspicious RTV bus was spotted in the footage.
The accused dumped Manoj’s body after murdering him near a pond behind the DTC depot and fled the scene. The police have arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as Sushant. Meanwhile, the search is on for two others- Ashish and Kale.
