
The Delhi and parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) received light rains on Thursday evening, plummenting the temperatures.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast rain accompanied by gusty winds up to 60 km/h over the next two hours in Delhi-NCR.
Earlier, the weather body also forecast thunderstorms and strong winds reaching speeds up to 70 kilometres per hour. An orange alert was also issued for most parts of the National Capital Region and a yellow alert was sounded for areas in the northwestern and southwestern parts of the NCR.
