
Delhi Weather Update: Delhiites on Monday woke up to a misty morning, after a few days of chilly morning last week.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin, the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy on March 10.
The IMD has predicted that the maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital would be around 32 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius respectively.

The IMD stated that there has been a rise in minimum temperatures and maximum temperatures over Delhi-NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are in the range of 32 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius respectively.
The minimum temperatures are below normal by 1-2 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures were above normal by 2-4 degree Celsius over most places over Delhi. The weather agency said that westerly winds with speed less than 15 Kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours.

On March 9, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded were 32.8 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius respectively. Tomorrow, on March 11, Delhi is predicted to experience a minimum and maximum temperature of 15-17 degrees Celsius and 32-34 degrees Celsius respectively.
The air quality index (AQI) of Delhi on recorded on Monday morning was at 197 (moderate category). On March 9, the AQI was at 209 (poor category).
Between zero and 50, AQI is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and between 401 and 500 in the ‘severe’ category. A few days ago, GRAP restrictions were scrapped in Delhi-NCR, but as soon as the pollution increased, GRAP-1 curbs were reintroduced.
