Chennai Super Kings finally broke their long losing streak by beating Lucknow Super Giants in their backyard in the 30th match of the IPL 2025. CSK had a new opening pair in Rasheed and Rachin Ravindra, which helped them get a good start. While Rasheed perished after 27(19), Rachin scored 37(22). Rahul Tripathi, Vijay Shankar, and Ravindra Jadeja struggled in the middle. As Shivam Dube struggled from his end, Dhoni made his job easier with a fantastic 26*(11). Despite Ravi Bishnoi and other spinners bowling well, CSK chased the total with three balls to spare.
