Hardik Pandya, Mitchell Santner, and Vignesh Puthur helped Deepak, Boult, and Ashwani dismiss KKR to a paltry total of 116 runs. It was not a challenging run chase for the home side.

Chasing 117, MI lost Rohit Sharma early in the innings. However, Ryan Rickleton ensured no other hiccups from his end. The Southpaw scored an unbeaten 62*(41), which included 4 fours and 5 sixes. In the process, he completed his maiden IPL fifty. At the other end, Suryakumar Yadav continued his good run and scored an unbeaten 27*(9) to help MI beat KKR by 8 wickets.
