‘Irfan kitna achha ladka hai, ussey abhi bohot miss karta hu’ – Navjot Singh Sidhu opens up on missing Pathan

During the IPL 2025 game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede Stadium, a wholesome moment in the commentary box grabbed attention. During the 11th over of MI’s chase, former cricketer-turned commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu expressed his admiration for former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan and spoke about missing him.

Pathan, who is not part of the current IPL 2025 commentary panel, received a lovely message from his senior partner and fans also expressed dissapointment after being left out by JioHotstar. Sidhu and Irfan, who had previously worked together in the broadcasting circuit, formed a lively on-air duo that was admired by many fans.

“Irfan kitna achha ladka hai, ussey abhi bohot miss karta hu,” Sidhu said on air during the Hindi commentary.

Pathan immediately responded with a sweet message, “I miss you too Paaji, lots of love n respect,” he wrote on X.
