Canada’s Liberal Party took the early lead as voting comes to a close in the country to elect 343 members to the House of Commons.
As per reports, Liberals have won 21 seats so far while the Conservatives have bagged 9 constituencies.
PM Mark Carney’s Liberal Party is leading on 72 seats while the Conservative Party headed by Pierre Poilievre has maintained a lead on 58 seats. Voting has officially ended in many constituencies including Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.
