An unidentified caller dialed Pune Police’s emergency number (112) around 9:15 AM, claiming that bombs had been planted at Pune Railway Station, Yerawada, and Bhosari. The threat prompted immediate action from law enforcement agencies.

Following the call, the Pune Police Control Room alerted the Bund Garden Police Station, which swiftly relayed the information to the Government Railway Police (GRP) and the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Authorities launched a joint search operation involving RPF, Pune City Police, GRP, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), and a dog squad. Extensive checks were carried out at all three locations, but no suspicious items were found.
