The man who saved batter Rishabh Pant’s life in a horrific road crash on the Delhi-Dehradun expressway two years ago reportedly attempted to die by suicide along with his girlfriend. Multiple reports have said the girlfriend has died while the man, identified as Rajat Kumar, remains critical.
The couple attempted suicide in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district on February 13 allegedly after their families disapproved of their five-year relationship.
As per a TOI report, a resident of their village found them in distress and alerted others. By the time their families arrived, the damage was extensive. Both were rushed to a local hospital from where the girl was moved to another facility by her family.
