
Navratna Defence PSU News Update, Stock to Track: Navratna public sector enterprise Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) said on Monday that it had secured a deal worth Rs 2,210 crore from the Ministry of Defence. The order involves the supply of an EW Suite for Mi 17 V5 Helicopters of Indian Air Force (IAF), according to a regulatory filing post-market hours on Monday.
The order size excludes taxes, according to the filing.
“These systems are indigenously designed and developed by CASDIC, DRDO and manufactured by BEL. The EW Suite comprises Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) and Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS) which significantly enhance the combat survivability of the helicopters along with effective counter measures,” said BEL.
BEL FY26 Order Book Crosses Rs 2,800 Crore Mark
BEL said that its accumulated orders amount to Rs 2,803 crore so far in the current financial year.

Earlier on Monday, Bharat Electronics Ltd shres ended lower by Rs 7, or 2.5 per cent, at Rs 273.2 apiece on BSE, amid a market-wide sell-off on Dalal Street.
As of Monday, BEL shares have grown 22.6 per cent in the past one year, outperforming a 2.2 per cent rise in the headline Nifty 50 index.
On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the BEL stock is down 6.8 per cent, in line with a 6.7 per cent fall in the 50-scrip blue-chip index.
Investors Await Q4 FY25 Earnings
Meanwhile, investors await the onset of a new corporate earnings season on Dalal Street.
The Navratna PSU is yet to announce the date on which it will report its financial results for the January-March period (Q4 of FY25).
