More, who is also an actor, recounted her exprience, revealing that the man was so drunk that he could not remember he was half-naked, but recalled how influential his father is.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Javed Shaikh’s 26-year-old son Rahil Shaikh has been booked for for outraging the modesty of a woman after he allegedly threatened and abused More in an inebriated condition. Speaking to news agency PTI, More said on Monday that she was returning home from Goregaon in Mumbai when an Innova SUV rammed her car in Andheri. She initially believed that it was a mistake, but when it happened again she was sure it was being done deliberately.
“I approached two police officers nearby, who assisted me in catching the individual. They sat in my car and then we followed the man. We managed to catch him near my house and confronted him regarding what he had done. Not only had he rammed into my car, three people escaped narrowly from getting injured due to his rash driving.
But, upon being confronted he began mentioning his father and asked me ‘tujhe pata hai mera baap kaun hai,’ claiming to be the son of a Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader. He also attempted to bribe me and proceeded to verbally abuse me,” she told PTI.

The woman also said that the man threatened her, asking her to go to a police station in Thane to figure out who he is. More said when Shaikh was taken to the police station, he abused personnel there and put his legs up on the table to demonstrate his power, saying that his father would buy everything and everyone if he came there.
The nail artist, in an interview with NDTV, claimed that the man was “drunk and half-naked”. “His pants were also slipping off. He did not remember he was half-naked, but he still could recall who his father was.”
More was recently in news because of her comments on the ongoing language policy row in Maharashtra. She had said that the local Marathi-speaking population could turn worse if the immigrants in the state were forced to move out over language. More had even alleged that she was being targeted by MNS because of her remarks.
More on Monday said in Marathi that she believes people in Mumbai are her family and that the city would lose its character if people from other states were asked to leave.
“Raj Thackeray saheb, I am not saying this about you, but it is not right to beat up and bully migrants. I am being targeted and I am afraid of stepping out of my house. I am not in support of the BJP, the Congress, Shiv Sena, or even the MNS – I have nothing to do with politics,” she told NDTV.
