Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G launched in India with 120Hz display, 6000mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G Launched: Samsung has launched the first smartphone in its all-new Galaxy F70 series – the Galaxy F70e 5G – in India on Monday, February 9, under Rs 14,000. According to the company, the phone is specially designed for young Gen Z users who create, share, and express themselves daily.

The Galaxy F70e 5G features a dual rear camera system – a 50MP main camera, and a secondary depth camera. The main camera has an aperture of f/1.8, which, according to the company, helps create a natural bokeh effect by slightly blurring the background while keeping subjects in focus. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera.

“For social media users and content creators, this camera system supports high-quality content creation on the go,” said the company.

It boasts a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a premium leather-patterned finish on the back. It’s just 8.2mm thin and comes with an IP54 water and dust-resistance rating. “Its High Brightness Mode (HBM) ensures clear and vibrant visuals even in bright outdoor conditions. Whether users watch videos, browse social media, or play games, the display is sharp and immersive,” the company said.

Galaxy F70e 5G comes in two colour options – Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue.

The newly launched smartphone is equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery, which according to the company is 20 per cent larger than last year’s and claims that it can last for two days on a single charge. This battery has a fast charging capability of 25W.

The Galaxy F70e 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, with an AnTuTu score of 623k+. It runs on the latest One UI 8 optimisations and offers 6 generations of OS and 6 years of security updates.

Additionally, its “Samsung Knox Vault—which protects users’ financial and personal data from any kind of malware & hardware attack—is Evaluation Assurance Level 5+ (EAL5+) certified.”

This smartphone comes in two variants: 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB.
