Other monitoring stations in the city also recorded high temperatures on Friday, with the maximum temperature in Ridge at 39.4 degrees Celsius, Aya Nagar at 38.1 degrees Celsius, Lodhi Road at 38 degrees Celsius and Palam at 37 degrees Celsius. The IMD said that the humidity level fluctuated between 47 percent and 18 percent during the day.
Delhi Air Quality ‘Moderate’
According to the Early Warning System, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the capital was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category on Saturday. At 5.30 AM, the AQI was 174.
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.
