Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri has taken a U-turn on his international retirement, and will now feature for the national side in the upcoming international friendlies this month.
The official confirmation of the decision is announced by AIFF on March 6, as the all-time leading goalscorer for India will don the national colours after a period of 9 months. Sunil Chhetri’s last international match was against Kuwait in FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers.
