Seven years ago, Tahira Kashyap underwent a mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, she has remained open about her journey, using her experience to raise awareness and inspire others. In 2018, she was diagnosed with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ), a condition characterised by high-grade malignant cells in her right breast. This diagnosis was classified as stage 0, often referred to as a pre-cancerous stage, offering her a critical window for treatment.
