
Tata Elxsi, a design and technology services firm, on Tuesday, July 28, declared a partnership with San Francisco-based KAVIA AI.
According to the Tata group firm, this collaboration aims to transform the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through intelligent automation, enhancing quality and accelerating time-to-market.
KAVIA AI’s platform, designed to handle millions of lines of code and complex backend systems, automates every stage of the SDLC—from planning and architecture to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Tata Elxsi will implement this GenAI-powered automation across both internal and client-facing platforms.
The partnership targets key industries such as transportation, media, communications, and healthcare, where engineering reliability is critical.
By combining Tata Elxsi’s domain-specific engineering expertise with KAVIA AI’s cloud-native Workflow Manager Platform.

Following the announcement, Tata Elxsi’s stock rose by as much as 0.62 per cent, hitting an intraday high of Rs 6,071.90 on the BSE.
