Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) came in at Rs 1,892 crore. This marked an 11.3 per cent rise sequentially and a sharp 40.1 per cent increase from a year ago. Profit after tax stood at Rs 11,220 crore, down 6.1 per cent QoQ.
