
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will undertake a State visit to India from December 4 to 5, 2025, following an invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has stated that the upcoming State Visit will act as a key moment to further reinforce the “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership” shared by India and Russia. During the visit, the two sides are expected to assess ongoing cooperation and exchange views on important regional and global developments.
As per the MEA’s announcement, Russian President Vladimir Putin will engage in official talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
