[WATCH]IPL 2025: RR CEO Jake Lush McCrum spotted at liquor store after team’s loss against RCB

Rajasthan Royals (RR) lost their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 24 by a small margin of 11-run at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. With this, the team has now lost five matches on the trot and is stuck at eighth spot in the points table.

After the match against RCB, RR CEO Jake Lush McCrum was seen walking towards a liquor store. Meanwhile, in a video circulated online, a fan captured the RR CEO walking towards Tonique in central Bengaluru after the RR’s collapse against RCB.

Speaking about the match, the home team posted a commanding total of 205 in their 20 overs. RCB opener Virat Kohli led the innings from the start as he scored 70 off 42 balls and was well-supported by Devdutt Padikkal who smashed 50 off 27 deliveries.

In the second innings, RR fell short by just 11-run and ended up scoring 194 for the loss of nine wickets. The openers gave a fiery start as Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed a quick 49 off 19 balls while he also got some support from 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. A composed knock from Dhruv Jurel (47 off 34) kept the Royals in the hunt, however, a dramatic collapse meant that the visitors fell short.

The RCB bowlers restricted RR during the middle overs by picking a flutter of wickets, including a two-wicket haul by Krunal Pandya, and Josh Hazlewood dismantled four of the Royals’ batters in his spell. With the victory, RCB moved to third place with the sixth victory in the IPL 2025.

Kohli also moved to second place in the Orange Cap table with 392 runs in this year’s IPL just below Sai Sudharsan (417). Meanwhile, RCB will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in Delhi while RR will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) in Jaipur in their next games.
