
Popular social media influencer Ranveer Allahbadia has caught the eye of a storm with his recent objectionable remark on a comedy show.
The podcaster, popularly known as “BeerBiceps” on YouTube recently appeared on comedian Samay Raina’s comedy show ‘India’s Got Latent’. During the show, he asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”
The clip of the remark soon got viral with many social media users slamming him for his inappropriate comment. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also warned against towing the line of freedom of speech and National Commission for Protection of Child Rights directed urgent action to YouTube.

Ranveer Allahbadia is a digital content creator, entrepreneur, and podcast host.
He is the founder of BeerBiceps Media Private Limited and hosts ‘The Ranveer Show’. He has 12 channels on YouTube with combined views of over 6 billion, according to an NDTV report.
His main channel is ‘BeerBiceps’ where he shares interviews with entrepreneurs, Bollywood stars, and athletes. His channel ‘Ranveer Allahbadia (Hindi)‘, brings The Ranveer Show to a Hindi-speaking audience.
Besides YouTube, Allahbadia has co-founded multiple ventures including Monk-E (a talent management agency), BigBrainco (a YouTube channel), Level Supermind (a self-help app), and BeerBiceps SkillHouse (offering courses in podcasting and video editing), according to his LinkedIn profile.

This is not the first time he has been receiving flak as his content has come under fire earlier a well. In July 2023, during a podcast with advocate J Sai Deepak, Allahbadia asked which individuals should leave India, prompting Deepak to name a few journalists and historians, sparking outrage.
Allahbadia refused to take down the video. In another video in April 2024, he was criticised for sharing an unverified claim about a village in Malappuram, Kerala, enforcing Islamic law.
In March 2024, he was presented with Disruptor if the Year award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the National Creators Award in New Delhi. The two engaged in a fun banter and PM Modi congratulated him for the award.
Allahbadia was also featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
He completed his education at Dhirubhai Ambani International School and Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering.
