GTA 6 Pre-Order: The wait is finally over for GTA fans. Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated sandbox action adventure, Grand Theft Auto VI (stylised as GTA VI or GTA 6), now has a pre-order date (finally). While the path to release has been marred by a long 13-year wait, multiple leaks, and countless rumours, it appears that the New York City-headquartered publisher has now decided to quash all naysayers by offering some tangible information for a change. The GTA 6 pre-order date announcement comes alongside the reveal of the official cover art and a glimpse into the official theme song.

GTA 6 Pre-Order Date, Release Date

As per Rockstar Games, GTA 6 will be available for pre-orders starting June 25. This makes sense as the official release date is set for November 19. Ample time for you to rub together enough coins to cope with the bank-breaking price tag (more on that below).

GTA 6 Theme Song

If you haven’t been living under a Final Fantasy-shaped rock, you would know that the Grand Theft Auto series have some of the best theme tunes ever. (You’re humming the GTA: San Andreas tune in your head already, aren’t you?)

In its official tweet, Rockstar Games offered us a glimpse into how the theme song might play out. 

Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.

GTA 6 Price

Okay, now let’s try and pick at the question you are wondering the most about: What will GTA 6 be priced at?

As per buzz around the rumour mill, GTA 6 Standard Edition could be priced around Rs 5,999. Higher-tier versions, including GTA 6 Premium and Collector’s Editions, may cost anywhere between Rs 7,299 and over Rs 10,000. 

Of course, Rockstar Games has yet to announce the prices for GTA 6. Expect official reveals to happen on June 25 only.

Will GTA 6 Be Available On PC? 

The short answer is: yes, GTA 6 will be available on PC. But the long answer has a long wait in line for PC gamers.  

GTA 6, at first, will only be released on current-gen consoles, i.e., the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Since there is not other console generation to fill in, Rockstar Games will be working on a PC port after the official November 2026 release, which means it’s safe to assume that GTA 6 PC release date will be pushed to at least a year later, to late 2027.
