The century was Rohit’s 34th in ODI cricket and came with multiple milestones. He became the first Indian batter to score an ODI century at Lord’s, surpassing Sourav Ganguly‘s previous highest score of 90 at the iconic venue, which came against England in 2004.

The knock also saw Rohit register his eighth ODI hundred in England, the most by any visiting batter in a single country. Additionally, at 39 years and 80 days, he became the oldest player to score an ODI century at Lord’s and the oldest Indian to register an international century at the historic venue across all formats.
